I was interested to see that your recent and forthcoming evenings feature a British theme, and that you have been listening to some lesser-known composers. I wonder if your members would be interested in a concert of string quartets in Wilton church on Palm Sunday by the Villiers Quartet, featuring the posthumous premiere of Ailsa Dixon’s Variations on Love Divine, alongside Haydn’s Seven Last Words? I could send some flyers for your next meeting if you think this would be of interest. More details at https://www.musicinsalisbury.org.uk/?event=quartets-for-palm-sunday
Josie,
We would be interested and yes send some flyers to Welland, Jubilee Hill, Great Durnford, Salisbury SP4 6AX. Perhaps we could leave some of our leaflets at the concert as well? Regards Peter
